1. What is aGesic SPORT?

aGesic SPORT is a personal safety system designed for people who train or move outdoors alone. It combines an advanced mobile app and a wearable IoT device with automatic alerts, real-time location sharing, and emergency notifications sent to your trusted contacts.

2. Do I need to carry my phone with me?


Yes. To enable GPS tracking, alert notifications, and communication with your contacts, you need to carry your phone. When paired with the aGesic Sportband, you can keep your phone in a pocket or backpack— the device detects falls and inactivity and communicates with the app via Bluetooth.

3. How does the alarm notification work?


When the Sportband detects a fall, prolonged immobility, or your shout “Help”, it automatically sends an alert to your emergency contacts.
The notification includes your real-time GPS location and is delivered via SMS, email, and phone call.
Your contacts will instantly know where you are and can coordinate help with speed and accuracy.

4. Is it suitable for hiking, cycling, or outdoor sports?


Absolutely. aGesic SPORT is built for solo activities such as trail running, cycling, hiking, mountain sports, and outdoor training. It provides continuous monitoring and automatic alerts designed for open environments.

5. When will the Sportband be shipped?


Shipments to Kickstarter backers will begin as soon as production is completed. We will keep you updated throughout the entire process through Kickstarter updates and notifications.
